No-Face
(カオナシ, kaonashi)“Noface was a loner in the movie-he can represent the people that are unaccepted in society or unaccepted somehow. He can represent want since he wanted food and companionship. Lonliness-since he originally had no one to cinfide in or go to. Later in the film he represents Greed and the evils that come along with it-greed since he was gloutonous and ate excessively. He also represents the people that pretend to be what tehy are not. when noface comes up the stairs a lot of bathouse workers assume he is very wealthy and they sing to him (“Here comes the rich man he’s pretty big u see all bow down have a bent knee”) He was giving “gold” away which as we learn in the end is not really gold” (extracted from wiki-answers)
